Hi there I am looking at one of your medium hot tubs and I really like the idea of using wood to heat the tub as it is for our Summer home and we have lots of wood.   What size of heater would your recommend.   We really like the idea of no noisy pumps.  However we plan to keep the water in the tub for a week at a time.  Should we get the extra pump filter system?

I would suggest our Medium wood fired hot tub heater or "Blaze" model.  It will be a good match and given you are mostly using it in summer you should have a good heat up time.  Yes if you want to keep the water in the hot tub for a week, you will need a way of cleaning it so I would recommend the wood fired filter system.  This includes a small very quiet circulation pump as well as a 50 square foot filter system.

Yes any water left for a week should be treated.  The filter will keep the water sparkling clear but you still should use some sanitization to prevent algae or bacteria from growing.
