Message: Dieter I bought a cedar tub about three years ago. It has an EL2000 spa back with the USB wireless transceiver (Mach 3) with a dashboard that I controlled from my computer which was running Windows XP. I recently upgraded the OS to Windows 7 Professional and now the dashboard does not recognize the USB device. I spoke to the people at Balboa and they said that they did not upgrade the drivers for the USB to be compatible with Windows 7 and won't because of too few sales. They said the only option is to upgrade to a BP pack and use an android device through my router. Can you advise me on that?

You have two options . 1) Get yourself a used Laptop that has XP on it and install the PC Dashboard software . 2) Replace your entire spa system with a BP501G1 Retrofit kit with TP400W panel and BWA WiFi transceiver . You will find this kit on our parts store cedartubsdirect.com under heaters for $850. Dieter

Dieter Perfect. Believe it or not I had an old laptop with broken hinge and missing keys but it had XP on it. Loaded the dashboard and some browser updates and it works fine. The wireless control is a great feature. I'm glad I got it. Thanks. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
