Message: Good Morning. I have a small, old, hot tub, and about 6-7 years ago, I retrofitted it with a Balboa Spa Pack from you folks..and it has run very well. The control panel is by Balboa Instruments and the reference card is dated 2005. .It is a VS500/501. Problem: Today, I found a small, 1/8 inch ball bearing in the hot tub. It must have come from the pump...as the pump is separated from the motor by the motor shaft. The pump has no tag on it to identify it... The motor is an Ultima, 115v. manufactured in 2004 and carries the serial number 1014263. The pump has a black plastic casing and it bolted to the motor and is detachable... Questions: Can the bearings in the pump be replaced? Or, can you identify the pump and do you have one to replace it? It has on occasion made a bit of a screeching sound when it starts...although, not very often, and that probably indicates the issue with the bearings. Any suggestions appreciated. If you have a pump that might work, a photo of it would be helpful so I could compare it to the one on the motor to ensure it will work out properly. Thanks, Bob Austin

Bob this would be the hot tub pump I would recommend. It definitely sounds like your pump is on its last leg. This is a 110-120 VAC 2 speed 1.5 HP pump. .html Please let me know if you have any other questions. Dan
