Message: HI I am putting together a 4 man wood hot tub purchased from you guys last year. we have just completed the "test fit" and everything is in place, my question is, can i stain the outside of the tub, before it gets taken apart and then re-assembled in its proper resting place, rather than staining it after its been put back together in the final stages.. is there a difference when i do this. i bought Sikkens Cetol translucent finish stain for decking. thanks toni

Hi Deiter thanks for clarifying that i have the right stain. Another question i have is, since i have now successfully completed the "test fit" i now have to disassemble the tub again in preparation for the final fit and silicone. But there are no instructions in manual on how to dismantle the tub. It is very tight and i am not sure how to do this. can you explain or provide guidance. toni
